This accessibility statement applies to the website www.xictron.com operated by XICTRON web agency, Glockruthenallee 16, 31185 Söhlde, Germany. It covers all German and English language pages available under this domain, including the blog.

This website is largely compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA. We address identified barriers as part of our ongoing development.

• Accessibility settings on every page (button “Accessibility settings” at the bottom left): font size in three steps up to 125%, high contrast, reduced animations, link highlighting, hiding pop-up hints, showing a plain-language summary, limiting line length and light/dark mode – the chosen settings are preserved across pages
• Respect for the system preferences for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion) and color scheme (prefers-color-scheme)
• Responsive display on all common screen sizes
• Scalable font sizes without loss of content or functionality
• Alternative texts for informative graphics

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of the website are not yet fully accessible:

• Embedded design demos (iframes) are illustrative design examples and are not fully usable with assistive technologies.

We are continuously working to resolve these limitations and to further improve the accessibility of the website.
