In short

The free initial consultation usually takes around 30 minutes and is held by phone or video call. You describe your plans, we ask targeted questions and give you an honest first assessment – at no cost, with no obligation and explicitly without a sales pitch.

The threshold for first contacting an agency is often unnecessarily high: nobody wants to be sold to, and many fear they will not be taken seriously without a finished concept. That is exactly why our initial consultation is deliberately low-key: around 30 minutes, free of charge, non-binding – and not a sales pitch, but an honest first assessment of your plans. Afterwards, you decide at your own pace whether and how to proceed.

From booking request to conversation

  1. Send your request – Using the online form, you choose a preferred date and time slot and briefly describe your topic – done in less than two minutes.
  2. Confirmation by email – We review your requested slot and usually confirm it within 24 hours on business days.
  3. The conversation – At the agreed time we talk about your plans for around 30 minutes – by phone or video call, whichever you prefer. Depending on the topic, the conversation may be shorter or run somewhat longer.

In the conversation itself, you first describe your topic: a planned online shop, a website relaunch, an ERP integration, an AI or SEO question – or just a vague idea. We ask targeted questions about your goals, existing systems and timeframe, and then give you a frank assessment: what makes sense from our point of view, and what does not. You speak directly with the people who would later implement your project – not with a sales team or call centre. That way you get a technically sound answer from the very start instead of a sales presentation.

The format suits very different starting situations: founders planning their first shop; companies whose organically grown website needs a relaunch; shop owners who are dissatisfied with their current agency; or teams with a specific technical problem – such as a faulty integration or slow loading times. Even if you simply want a second opinion on a quotation you have received, the initial consultation is the right place.

What you should prepare

No special preparation is necessary. Three things are helpful: the address of your existing website or shop, your goals in one or two sentences, and a rough timeframe. Even without any documents, we will work out together what it is about during the conversation – that is part of our job, not yours. If you already run an online shop, you can additionally request a free shop check in advance: that way, an initial assessment of your shop is already available at the appointment, giving the conversation a concrete starting point. It also helps to jot down the questions that matter to you beforehand – so nothing is left open at the end.

At the end of the conversation you receive concrete recommendations on how to approach your plans sensibly – regardless of whether you implement them with us or in another way. There are no costs and no obligations. If you do want to start the project with us, the next step is the analysis and concept phase of our project process, which results in a documented concept and, building on it, a written quotation with clearly itemised positions.

Cost questions belong here too

Serious statements about costs require a requirements analysis – flat-rate prices quoted without knowing the project are rarely reliable. The initial consultation is therefore the right place to discuss a first realistic effort range for your plans.
